Julian spent 3 years under the supervision of famous British Director FRANK HAUSER (founder of the Oxford Playhouse) who brought such talents to the stage as JUDI DENCH, RICHARD BURTON and IAN McKELLEN.
As a working actor in New York City, Julian won the prestigious New York Innovative Theatre Award for OUTSTANDING ACTOR in a LEAD ROLE for his portrayal of Malvolio in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Julian studied with famed NYC Acting Coach TERRY SCHREIBER at the T. Schreiber Studios.
Currently he’s the lead in the off-Broadway production of A DAY BY THE SEA at the Mint Theater and directed by Austin Pendleton. Before this he starred as Charles in Blithe Spirit at Cape May Stage, as Guildenstern in Tom Stoppard’s ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD, directed by Cat Parker, to name a few. New York stage credits include John Patrick Shanley’s two person short play OUR FANTASIA at Nylon Fusion, the role of Asher in the long running Off Broadway show PERFECT CRIME, the role of Moon in Stoppard’s THE REAL INSPECTOR HOUND, (Gloria Maddox Theater) POOR OPHELIA (New York Directors’ Guild), NO SUCH ROSES (New York International Fringe festival) and CORIOLANUS(ShakespeareNYC) to name a few. Other credits include roles in the film Reverie, the pilot of Models and Me, The History Channel, several audio books and the voice of Twinnings Tea. Julian graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and studied extensively with famed British Theater director Frank Hauser.
In addition to being a working ACTOR in NYC, Julian offers privateACTING CLASSES in New York City’s Upper West Side. This includes one on one coaching and small groups.
